Mrs . Catherine Lynch

Catherine Lynch has been teaching at Grásta Christian School since 1993, and was part of the pioneering team that began the school, the first school in the Republic of Ireland to use a completely Bible-based curriculum.

She is a licensed minister and has an honours degree in English, as well as professional training from Christian Education Europe.  Catherine enjoys sports, gardening and being active with her dogs.

Formerly a native of County Down, she now lives in North Louth with her husband, Pat.

I moved to Dundalk in 2005 with Rosemary, my wife, and I have worked in the school since 2011.

I received my primary education in Cape Town, RSA, my secondary education in Belfast, Northern Ireland and have completed a Bachelor of Science degree with The Open University.

I have four children and they are all enrolled in Grȧsta Christian School. I am a member of Island Church Dundalk and play bass guitar in the worship team.

I also enjoy taking part in outdoor activities including mountain biking, hill walking and rowing.

IT Teacher / Systems Administrator

Kieron has been teaching computer studies/IT at Grasta Christian School since 2012, and often leads Chapel time. During his time the school became the first Google School in Ireland using Google Apps for Education, took part in the beta testing of Google CS First, introduced Scratch programming to the curriculum and helped pilot the use of Scratch for the National Curriculum, introduced Python, HTML and Javascript programming for the juniors and seniors.

Since 2017 the school has taken part in the bebras challenge representing Christian Schools, Country Louth and Ireland in this international competition.

Kieron has a BSc (Hons) Computer Science (1st Class) from City University, London, a MA Modern Management from Middlesex University, London and a DDiv (Doctor of Divinity) from Allen Hall Seminary, London.

Outside of the school, Kieron is an International Award Winning Blockchain Evangelist and Developer, has been a Tokenization/Digital Assets Pioneer (including work with the United Nations) and a Fintech CTO. Co-Founder and CTO of A91 and Sarafu, Chairman of Blockchain Education Network (Irish Chapter), Former CTO of Assetvault,  Co-founder of Aid:Tech and early CTO of Aid:Tech.
